Maracas!

Alexander loves to play the maracas! : ) At first he thought it was a chicken leg and gnawed on it for a while but after he figured out it makes noise... well, see for yourself!



This last week or so he also learned how to:
-Lock his knees and stand up leaning/balancing on something (with help of course)
-Play the 'rockas! : )
-Put his hand on mommy's face without smacking it - he loves to honk my nose and rest his hand on my chin
-Run his fingers through mommy's hair without pulling on it - he loves to do this while he nurses!
-Grab things off of the table while we are trying to hold him on our lap and eat
-Put his hand where he shouldn't while we change his diaper! Lol - poopy fingers, ew!
-Grab onto his toes while laying on his back - he tried so hard to do this the last few weeks but his legs are so chunky that he had a really hard time doing it. Finally got them the other day and now he does it every time I try and change his diaper!
-Spin around in his exersaucer instead of staying in the same place
-Bring things UP TO his face while he's laying on his tummy, as opposed to smashing his face on the ground to put things on his mouth!
-Sit up and lean forward to play with toys without tipping over (until he sits up straight)
-Sit up in the tub - now that he sits up more he doesn't want to lay in the tub anymore! So we bought him a bath seat - pictures to follow!
-I'm sure there's way more that I'm forgetting but that's all for now : )
